Coronal Mass Ejection
Catalog: M2M_CATALOG
Start Time: 2026-08-07T23:00Z ( SOHO: LASCO/C2 )
All Detecting Spacecrafts:
SOHO: LASCO/C2
SOHO: LASCO/C3
STEREO A: SECCHI/COR2
GOES: CCOR-1
Activity ID: 2026-08-07T23:00:00-CME-001 (version 1)
Note Keyword:
OFL: Outflowing material at the back of the CME
OVR: Event partially overlaps with another CME
Source Signature Keyword:
OFL: Moving/Opening field lines
Morphology Keyword:
O: Other
Note: CME observed to the NE in SOHO LASCO C2/C3, GOES CCOR-1, and faintly to the N in STEREO A COR2. This is the second in a quick series of fronts to the NE at 2026-08-07T21:00Z, 2026-08-08T23:00Z, and 2026-08-08T00:36Z. The source is lengthy continuous field line movement over the E limb in SDO AIA 171 as early as 2026-08-07T20:12Z, and the pulse of field line movement likely responsible for this front can be seen starting around 2026-08-07T21:03Z.

Event Type Catalog
Measurement TypeCME measurement type: Leading Edge (LE), Shock Front (SH), Right Hand Boundary (RHB), Left Hand Boundary (LHB), Black/White Boundary (BW), Prominence Core (COR), Disconnection Front (DIS), Trailing Edge (TE).
Prime?"primary flag" which is either True or False. If there are multiple CME analysis entries for a single CME, this flag would indicate which analysis is considered most accurate per measurement type. This is a helpful flag if you would like to download only one most accurate CME analysis per CME per Measurement Type
